Seasonal Eczema Flare-ups

It is the change of season and my own eczema-prone skin is telling me that this year’s change of season is going to be a tough one.

Coming from an exceptionally damp Winter into a hopefully warm Spring, usually results in severe flare-ups in most eczema sufferers.

I have found that taking meticulous care of my skin over this transition period can make it one of relative comfort. To avoid flare-ups I assist my own skin by applying extra Axhilirit Eczema moisturizing cream when needed and add 5 drops of Axhilirit Eczema oil to my bathwater.

Prevention is better than cure and it is of vital importance to avoid full flare-ups of cracked and broken skin which takes time to heal and can become infected quickly.

Eczema-prone and dry skin types usually warn us with an uncomfortable itchy or prickling feeling before a full flare-up is experienced. If you can prevent the eczema bout from occurring, it is easier to manage your condition.

Listen to your body and take the necessary steps to live as comfortably in your skin as you can.
